Dr. Rahul Prakash
Dr. Prakash received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry and completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Preceptorship program at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He has been practicing dentistry for over a decade and specializes in providing comprehensive care for all patients. Dr. Prakash believes in building a positive relationship that supports his patients’ long-term health. He is committed to empowering and educating while focusing on patient comfort during dental appointments. His approach integrates dental health into broader wellness and upholds the core principles that guide our philosophy at Fresh Smile Seattle.
Dr. Prakash has served in the U.S. Army Reserves for over six years with a medical support unit that has been involved in humanitarian missions and has provided medical support to troops and civilians. He recently served with the Medical Task Force supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as part of the public health response to COVID-19 in New Jersey. He received the prestigious Army Commendation Medal for his service during this mission.
Dr. Prakash lives in Redmond with his wife, Erin, who is pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Washington. When they’re outside the office or classroom, they can often be found bicycling or hiking in nearby parks, enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
